December was full of exciting events. We had a great time celebrating the season of giving at our annual Club Holiday Gala. Our club logged in 72 hours of service by throwing a Christmas party for our kids through Adopt a Class, serving at the St. Francis Seraph Soup Kitchen, the Hillrise Senior Christmas Party, and dinner at the Ronald McDonald House. In December, we also welcomed a new member, Tony Fischer, to the club. Read stories about December's events and see photos in the newsletter. This month's interview is with Jim Gerwe, Club Community Service Coordinator 2008-2009.

August and September were busy months for us. We inducted 2 new members, participated in 4 service projects, watched Amy Zimmerman be inducted as Lieutenant Governor of Division 6, and had Mary Ronan (Superintendent for Cincinnati Public Schools) speak at our meeting. We're now connected with 4 elementary schools in the Cincinnati area that are interested in chartering a K-Kids club.
October is no less busy. Check our our newsletter for the scoop! |
